Fancy Cupcakes Set

Hello everybody,

 I have been working on my shabby chic house and some patisserie this week. I decided to remake my cupcakes because I have been obsessed with paper-work and some fancy decorations <3 <3 I made an original cupcake mold myself because I am not very satisfied with the commercial molds with little folds (cupcake base). I quite like the color combination in this set (Pink, Brown and Mint Green) ^3^ !! Let me know what you think too! 

Ranunculus

Hello! I'm very glad that there are some readers around after a year (: (: Thanks so much for your support! So I decided to post some more of my new flowers with a vintage/shabby setting. The color is inspired by summer flowers and I am thrilled to experiment the White Ranunculus with light purple touches on the edges ^3^. I think it turns out great!!

I'm STILL HERE making miniatures...

Hello there,

 It has been...woah... a year since I posted anything? I guess many of you thought I quit making miniatures... but- NO! Never! ;) And I'm here keeping my casual style of writing (insert with a lot of informal !R$(*!& and CAPS) :p I am quite busy with my study in architecture, enjoying mostly history and design but not very much with the technicals. I thought I would be in Edinburgh by now but (I bought Qatar's plane ticket...Not a wise choice.......... -_______-''' ) and decided to cancel the flight and stay in Hong Kong!! <3 <3  Yay! with family and friends ^3^!

  So... in case any of you are interested in the way I work (because I usually only work in Hong Kong where I normally stay for 2-3 months per year), I usually work on my miniatures in the summer and sell my work throughout the year. Other times I am devoted to study and to figure my life out :p Therefore, I do not have a lot of time to work on the latest miniature trends nor do I have time to build a big grand house of minis flowers and furniture heavens. Nonetheless, I worked on these (and actually many more) flowers and all of them are sold! I'm always very grateful that somebody likes my work and collect them <3 <3 It makes me feel very happy and special \^3^/

This raspberries little baby is one of my favourites!! I love how realistic it looks!! It is soo tiny and cute! Dainty dainty dainty (shamelessly selling my work, but no. It is really cute! :p)

As you can see I tried to do a lot of other new types of flowers ^3^ Not all of them are perfect but I hope I will develop a better and more sophisticated version of them. <3 <3 <3 I'm working on a mini house project right now and I am very excited til the next time I show you my progess!! 

Let me know if you like your mini house to be more vintage (antiquities) or more ''modern'' chic? I love my mini house to be sophisticated and vintage at heart but allowing a little bitt of modern twist sometimes. :D

Autumn

Dear Readers,

 It is quite busy as I started my semester once again. I have made a lot of models and drawings related to my own architectural ideas. Recently, I am reading Carlo Scarpa, Lou Kahn, Michelangelo 's work and discovered something very very interesting and I really agree upon to their ideas on architecture. Anyway, I would like to thank you for all of your support because all of my tiny bottles with flowers were sold!!! I have made 12 of them and all of my flowers were sold!! yay!

I only have 3 more flowers left until I can get back to work on miniature in December. I'll produce more work in the next quarter of year.

It's summer time again!

Dear Readers, (if there are any haha)
 It has been a year since I have posted any thing on this blog! I really doubt whether anyone will read this page but I got a very nice customer from Singapore who told me she read my blog so I guess... I still have to write! So I made some lemon cake, raspberries cake & some very special flowers too!

I developed some new skills to work on which include English roses..

Raining doesn't stop me from doing minis :D

As summer approaches, rain gets heavier and heavier here... There is not much sunshine :'( But this doesn't stop me from doing miniature! In fact, my mom and I made this lovely display for my patisserie. yum yum yum!

Fairies' Garden

❣ This is by far the most detailed work I have accomplished. Everything is handmade to scale and matched perfectly. Even though this arrangement is not very splendid, the realism of the work is definitely surprising. 

❣ Each leaf is made to look like the real leaf in life.
There are a total of 5 different species of flowers in this arrangement, which is 
Syringa vulgaris, Ranunculus, Callirhoe involucrata, Black oak leafs and Sawtooth Oak leafs. 

❣This piece in real life looks much more delicate. I love looking at it too! 

❣I would like to stress on the lilac, the process of work could be found in my blog. I made each petal by hand without using any mold and color the end in green and outside in purple.
